This company and the other companies in this Division have extensive land banks, particularly in and around Kuching, which are being progressively developed either by itself, its sister company, Projek Bandar Samariang Sdn Bhd, or in joint venture through its subsidiary, CMS Land Sdn Bhd. Its focus is on building high quality well designed homes and other buildings to establish itself as a developer of choice for residential and commercial properties as well as townships.
Samalaju Properties Sdn Bhd (752695-D)
This company is a joint venture between Samalaju Industries Sdn Bhd (51%), Naim Holdings Bhd (39%) and State agency, Bintulu Development Authority (10%). It is involved in both providing temporary workers housing, a hotel and related services as well as developing the adjoining township (known as Samalaju Eco Park), industrial park and commercial centre, which is over 2,400 acres and will serve the needs of the industries and workers in the Samalaju Industrial Park (SIP).
Projek Bandar Samariang Sdn Bhd (443828-P)
This company owns an overall 5,245 acres of the up-and-coming new township in northern Kuching, Bandar Samariang. With the first phase of 665 acres almost completed, development is starting on the second phase which has been spearheaded by the sale of 500 acres of land to Sentoria Group Bhd to build the Borneo Samariang Resort City which is a mixed-use development and includes, its signature components, a 200-acre water theme park, safari park, hotel and convention centre.

This company, a joint venture with Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), owns a substantial land bank in the Bintawa area totalling approximately 243 acres, of which 199 acres comprises of The Isthmus, Kuching’s new CBD extension anchored by the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching and three corporate Headquarters, one for Sarawak Energy Bhd – which has been completed – and two for the SEDC and the Land Custody Development Authority, both which are under construction. The projects under final planning or implementation include a hotel, a private university, river-view gated homes, showrooms, an urban park with sports facilities, a river taxi jetty, a retail zone and a hypermarket.

This company, a joint venture with the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation, is the property management unit of this Division and presently manages the gated and guarded Fairway Villas development in Kuching’s Petra Jaya.
