24 March 2018 – Traders converged at PPES Works’ parking lot to trade in their own vehicles’s trunk at CMS Car Boot Charity Sale. They were selling pre-loved items, car accessories, plants, pillows, food and beverages including a food truck and other products on roadshow. The music played continuously attracting people to the fiesta. This was a great way to foster cooperation and teamwork between colleagues in other department and cultivate values of ‘Doing Good’ and giving back to the community by donating the funds raised to charity. There were more traders and crowds joining the fiesta this year. Our CMS employees were excited when Mr. Lim Jit Yaw and Mr. Lai Hen Kim, the CEO and Deputy CEO of Construction & Road Maintenance Division made a surprise visit to the event. They arrived together with the committee members of Gereja Anglika Kampung Sungai Apong to whom the RM2,800 – money collected from the registration fee for the Car Boot Charity Sale were donated to.
