| CMS’ investments include a 20% shareholding in Main Board-listed steel engineering entity, KKB Engineering Berhad (KKB). Since its inception in 1962 as a steel fabricator, KKB’s business has today diversified and expanded into other steel related engineering and manufacturing activities such as hot-dip galvanizing, civil construction, manufacturing of LPG cylinders and manufacturing of steel pipes and pipe specials. A wholly-owned subsidiary , KKB Industries (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, located in the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park is currently operates a steel water pipe manufacturing plant, steel fabrication plant and in 2008, has commissioned a new hot gip galvanising plant to complement its business activities for the Sabah and nearby market requirements. KKB Group is also supported by a branch office in Kuala Lumpur.
