Musical Fountain Not Part Of Our Scope Of Work Says PPES Works (Sarawak) And Naim Land Sdn Bhd

Kuching (Sarawak), Monday, 22 October 2018 – Following recent media coverage on the ‘Musical Fountain’ monument on the Sarawak River in front of the DUN, both PPES Works (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd (PPES) and NAIM Land Sdn Bhd (NAIM) issued a joint clarification statement today which read;

“We would like to thank the media and PKR Representative See Chee How for their fiscal diligence in questioning projects, who combined with enforcement agencies like MACC and A-G, serve as a public check-and-balance to prominent projects. However, we would also like to strenuously make note that neither PPES nor NAIM had any involvement in the scope of work to build nor construct the musical fountain. Furthermore, none of the alleged RM31 million invested in the fountain was payable to PPES nor Naim.”
