CMS Pavement Tech's core business is the rehabilitation of existing pavement by cement / bitumen stabilisation using the recycling technique.
PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES
Pavement Rehabilitation
- Pavements are made of layers of sub-grade, sub-base, base, and premix, and are designed to carry a maximum load over a designed life span. Despite maintenance, pavements will need to be rehabilitated at the end of thick source etc. Conventional pavement upgrading is done by building a new pavement on top of the existing worn-out pavement. This method is costly, inefficient, slow, and causes long periods of traffic disruption.
- CMS PT offers pavement rehabilitation services by recycling technique (using cement, line or foam bitumen as binder)
Profiling or Cold Milling
- Profiling or Cold Milling is a cost-effective way of removing part or all of an existing sealed surface before resurfacing. It ensures that there is no increase in level or thickness of the pavement. This is very critical for road sections beneath overhead bridges and bridge decks, and offers various advantages in costing time & environment.
Profiling also offers other advantages. It removes the problem of propagation of reflective cracking and if commercially viable, the milled material may be recycled.
Soil Stabilisation
- Soil stabilisation offers a total solution to kampung roads or plantation estate roads that require the road to be accessible under all weather conditions.
- It is also a solution to the problem of unsuitable soil materials for subgrade at the road during construction. These soil materials are quite often to be disposed away from the site.
Pavement Design
- CMS PT offers investigation and design services for pavement rehabilitation to meet the needs of our clients.
CMS PT’s proven cement stabilisation technology has enabled the Company to reconstruct and rehabilitate pavements in an efficient and cost effective manner.
With its ever-improving record of accomplishment in the industry, CMS PT is surely the smart way to go for pavement reconstruction services, designed to give pavements a new lease of life for the benefit of road users. |
