CMS ROADS MAKES DOING GOOD EVENT A FAMILY & STAFF BONDING OUTING

CMS Roads staff in Betong enlisted the help of their families for a vigorous CMS Community Outreach activity at the Batang - Saribas - Pusa ferry points on Saturday, 8 September.

More than 50 volunteers - 27 of them CMS Roads staff - banded together that morning for a major clean-up job at roads surrounding the ferry point which resulted in the collection and disposing of 30 large bags of rubbish.

They came in all ages and sizes, prepared for a day of family fun kick-started by “Doing Good” for community and ending with some well-deserved rest and relaxation on the beach.

Of the employees who participated, 26 staff were from RMU Betong and 1 hailed from RMU Saratok.

Betong RMU Operations Executive, Jee Meng Tong, commented that the day was an excellent opportunity to promote employee volunteerism and staff bonding. It was also a platform to boost community awareness on cleanliness and a way to show young children an excellent example of family togetherness.

Afterwards, the Saratok group proceeded to Tanjong Kembang Beach to meet with other CMS Roads colleagues from Sri Aman and Saratok units to finish off the day playing games with their families.
