17 November 2018 – Situated some 16km from Betong town, Sekolah Kebangsaan Paku Central has 108 students mainly from the nearby villages and longhouses, 13 teachers and 9 non-teaching staff. The school needed a parking space for parents to drop-off and pick-up their children so they reached out to CMS Roads RMU Betong for help. After identifying the access road leading to the school was the best place to build the parking lot, RMU Betong despatched 43 employee volunteers to the site. Equipped with a Backhoe, they demolished the old structure that held the waste disposal bins and removed the faded wooden signboard before laying 20 tons of stone aggregates and premix waste to widen the access road. They covered an area size of 50m x 3m which will now be used as a parking lot.
