Kuching (Sarawak), Friday, 20 May 2016 – Magical and mysterious? Yes. But more than these two words to expound on the multi-entangled journey webs, this performance brought together by students and staff of Tunku Putra School (TPS) explored the unarticulated desires, jealousy and greed of characters in the pursuit for self-gain.

The story began with a humble Baker and his wife, who dreamt of a child but crossed path with a witch who doomed them from their only true desire. Their only redemption was a collection of specific items, which intertwined their paths with fascinating individuals. Each has a journey to make, a different path to take but are they certain it is the right direction?

Furthermore, the performance witnessed the school’s 20th Anniversary Celebrations, held in the presence of His Excellency the Governor of Sarawak Tun Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud and Yang Amat Berbahagia Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajjah Raghad Kurdi Taib on the occasion of Tun Pehin Sri’s 80th birthday.

The performance is held at the Ballroom of the Old State Legislative Assembly building, Kuching for two more nights: Saturday, 21 May at 7.30 pm and Sunday, 22 May at 6.30 pm.
